Sustainability Victoria REC to complete a material flow analysis for Victorian photovoltaic panel (PV) systems (including PV panels, inverters, and PV batteries.

The project delivered the following: 

1. A material flow analysis (MFA) of PV systems that includes data for historical, current, and future consumption and waste generation in Australia and Victoria. 

2. Analysis of Victorian PV system decommissioning, waste collection, and management. 

3. Analysis of Victorian PV system processing. 

4. Analysis of end markets for materials derived from waste PV systems processing.
